We know how frustrating it is to move in to your new home and find that you have several chips along the edge of your kitchen granite countertops. What's worse, is that one of those chips lays at the edge of the sink - towards the front of it! Where it's miserably and annoyingly visible to you! What to do then? get completely new granite countertops? I don't think so...

Countertops shouldn't be this hard to choose from, right? Well they are. Why? easy, due to the same reasons we have to choose different clothes to wear, except that once you choose which countertops you want, your kitchen must wear them everyday for a very long time, years, in some cases even decades. I can't stress enough the importance to take your time in researching and analyzing your unique taste for natural stone. Let us assist you in making some decisions.

So according to Wikipedia Marble is a non-foliated metamorphic rock composed of recrystallized carbonate minerals, most commonly calcite or dolomite... umm! is it just me? or does all this actually mean something to you? Either way, the reason we are both here is certainly NOT for the technical definition but for its natural aesthetics, let's explore Marble for its alluring surface beauty.

We just updated our granite countertop gallery with some new photos taken of a beautiful kitchen done by our excellent team at the Maryland Granite. The quality of the photos is not the greatest because we used our cell phone to take it, but you can see that they are very nicely done and the counters installation was perfect!

Hello everyone! wow, it feels just like spring outside, we can not believe how mild this winter has been, can you? We are still about a week or so away from the "official" first day of spring and it feels great out there, so enjoy it! News 02/07/12: So we can't tell if its winter or spring anymore? what's that all about? We have snow showing on our website because its supposed to be "winter", but yet we are having days where its 60 degrees outside... what's going on with that? lol I mean don't get us wrong, we love warm weather, we would just like it to be a bit more consistent so that we don't look like we update our website when its 60 degrees outside and we have falling snow showing. All jokes aside, Global warming is a serious issue, and we should all try to play a role in making sure we don't cause any more damage to our "only" place we can live for now; our earth.
